About
Armchair Wizard 2 is a fan-made reference site for the game Rift Wizard 2. The interface is similar to the game so it should familiar. I hope it's better than a wiki!
The name is derived from the term Armchair Quarterback, because you can theorycraft your way to victory without actually playing the game. It probably won't work in practice though, you'll probably just die in an unexpected way.
Contact
You can reach me at the Rift Wizard Discord
in the
dedicated thread, or mention me: @wombat
.
Hotkeys
- Use highlighted letters when the Tags list is visible to filter the list of skills or spells, just like in the game.
- Press Esc to clear the search field, if it's focused. Otherwise, Esc will clear the pinned item, or the tag filter if they are set.
- Press / to focus the search bar.
Game Versions
I aim to always keep the data in sync with the latest version of Rift Wizard 2. If you notice any discrepancies, please let me know.
If there is an active beta, you can select the version in the top right dropdown. I will likely make changes later to only have two versions: stable and beta.
Limitations
This reference is still a work in progress.
- Randomized equipment and monster variations are not included.
- Some spells have vestigial attributes that do nothing. These are bugs in the game that are benign, but confusing. They will likely be removed/fixed in the future.
- Some spells, skills, and equipment may not be included in "affected/augmenting X"
because a few spell upgrades do not expose their attributes in a structured way.
- To work around this, I've tried to extract the attributes from the descriptions alone, but it may still be incomplete.
